Empowered Lives
As you go, preach this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven is near.’ 8Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.(Matt 10:7)
Through the Holy Spirit, we are empowered to carry on the work of Christ. We seek to reveal God’s Kingdom by healing the sick, freeing those who are oppressed, serving the poor, and being generous with our lives and our resources to restore those around us. This is the substance of our mission.
How does this look?
We pray for the sick and give to those in need. Likewise, we willingly receive prayer and support from each other.
We contribute our time, finances and concern for people outside our community as well as within it. Equally, we rely on our community to help us in our daily lives.
