Individuals
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. (Gal 5:1)
Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye. (Matt 7:3-5)
We believe in the individual freedom of each person in our community. Our goal is not to impose anything on anyone, rather to propose this way of life within the Kingdom of God. Our desire is that we would, through our community and our service, live and act as agents of God’s coming and present Kingdom; however, not with imposing regulations and words, but with a lifestyle that proposes that this alternative is life as it was meant to be lived.
How does this look?
We highly value the fact that people will participate in ways that come natural to them and do not pressure them into attending services, gatherings or activities.
